Dongmyoung Lee
Dongmyoung is a technical advisor at the firm specializing in materials science and metallurgy. His technical expertise covers brazing, microstructure analysis, alloy design and synthesis, scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction, nanomaterials, spectroscopy, and gas atomization.
In his academic and research career, he has researched, patented, and published on technology relating to filler alloy compositions, metallic glass alloys, braze joining, brazing fillers, amorphous alloy composition, gradient functional extrusion, heat press apparatus, spark plasma sintering, bulk metallic glasses, annealing, eutectic systems, YAG laser welding, glass forming ability, capacitors, arc melters, melt spinners, dental crowns, vacuum re-melting, heat-treatment, thermal sprays, laser cladding, additive manufacturing, and anodic plasma arc.
Dongmyoung obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in materials science and engineering at Inha University. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology and a research associate at Case Western Reserve University.
