John Fulton, Jr.
John is an of counsel with the firm and is a patent attorney with over 25 years of experience in intellectual property law. Prior to joining the firm, he spent much of his career with Malloy & Malloy, P.L, among the preeminent boutique IP law firms in Miami, where his practice primarily focused on securing patent protection for his clients in the U.S. and abroad across a broad range of disciplines including a variety of mechanical, electro-mechanical and medical devices, as well as chemical formulations and processes, including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, immunology and drug delivery systems. John has counseled clients on both sides of numerous patent disputes and has negotiated settlement and licensing agreements based on his clients’ various intellectual property rights.

John has over 10 years of experience as a practicing chemical engineer prior to joining the Bar. His engineering experience includes laboratory research and development, hazardous waste remediation, and the design and implementation of emergency response treatment systems. John maintains his registration as a professional engineer in the State of Florida.

John is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, as well as several U.S. District and Circuit Courts, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  John has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubble, recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer, and is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law by The Florida Bar.  John obtained his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.S. in chemical engineering from Cleveland State University.
