Sean Kang participated as a panelist at an international academic conference on "Collaboration and Challenges of Global Intellectual Property in the 4th Industrial Revolution." The conference took place on November 9, 2019 at the Dankook University Intellectual Property Education Center in Korea.
Speakers including Professor Dr. Ulrich Hass (College of Law, University of Zurich, Switzerland), Professors Du Ying and Dong Xinyi (China Central University of Finance and Economics, Beijing) and Director Gil-seop Lee (Korea Institute of Patent Information) lent their expertise at the conference. As part of the second panel among several panels set for the full-day conference, Sean spoke about the requirements for sufficient disclosure of an invention as it pertains to U.S. patent examination.
